&

Sintra Cascais Tour as a suggestion, can start by doing a short passage through Belém on the way to Cascais, so you can admire some of the most beautiful landmarks of our history, such as the Jerónimos Monastery, the tower of Belém, which beckons the boats that sail the Tagus River every day, and the Padrão dos Descobrimentos erected in silence thanks to our navigators.

With Tejo as a backdrop, we will continue along the coast, passing by the point where Tejo says goodbye, and with the ocean as a view, we will continue to Cascais. Along the way, you can observe how the romanticism of our coast unites with the glamour of the planted seaside villages.

Cabo da Roca

Then, we venture into the mountains to visit Cabo da Roca — the westernmost point of continental Europe. This dramatic cliffside location offers incredible views and photo opportunities. You’ll also see the iconic 18th-century lighthouse, which adds even more character to the landscape.

Sintra

Finally, we arrive in Sintra, a town straight out of a storybook. Known for its fairytale architecture and lush scenery, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995.

We’ll explore its historic center, where cobbled streets are lined with cafés and artisan shops. Here, you can find the wonderful Sintra National Palace. As landmarks of interest, we can point out the Pena Palace, Monserrate, Seteais, the Moorish Castle, or Quinta da Regaleira—each with its own magic and history.

Boca do Inferno

You’ll also visit the dramatic Boca do Inferno (“Mouth of Hell”), where the ocean crashes against rocky cliffs.

Estoril

Estoril is a stylish seaside town near Lisbon, known for its beaches, relaxed charm, and the famous Casino Estoril.

Cascais

Next, we head to Cascais, a charming fishing town with a unique atmosphere. Its picturesque bay and coastal views are simply unforgettable.

From here, we follow the coastal road through Guincho Beach, part of the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. Known for its wide sands and strong winds, Guincho is a favorite spot for surf, windsurf, and kitesurf lovers, and often hosts international competitions. It’s considered one of the largest beaches in the country.

I can’t speak highly enough of the wonderful day trip we had. Paula, our guide, was everything we could have hoped for and more. The day was truly spectacular and one we will remember forever. Fabio snd Paula listened so carefully to what we wanted and made sure everything was perfect. This company is one of the best tour companies we’ve ever encountered anywhere. I highly recommend them.. you won’t be disappointed.

Our tour guide, Pedro Alves, was an absolute amazing guy and made our day so very relaxing and interesting at the same time! We had a view of the most beautiful sights with explanations and the most wonderful lunch at his recommendation. Could not have asked for a better experience! Highly highly highly recommend!

What an amazing experience. We passed up Sintra to focus on Cascais and the coastline. It was STUNNING. What made it a forever memory was our guide, Paula. She greeted us like we were visiting family (whom she really liked) and was so warm, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating that we would recommend her to anyone visiting Lisbon. She selected a restaurant for lunch that offered excellent food and service, coupled with stunning views of crashing waves. Thank you, Paula, my sister.

My wife and I went on a private tour for the first time. Originally we thought it was a bit expensive, but in the end it turned out that every euro was worth it. We liked the ocean view from Cabo da Roca and the visit to the castle in Sintra the most. Our companion, Catarina, provided the good mood and the very detailed explanations. We liked her from the very first moment, and we remain very grateful to her for contributing to an unforgettable trip. Thank you Catarina!
