Team Building Activities in Lisbon for Corporate Groups

Most team building activities in Lisbon last two hours and happen indoors. Yellow Cab TT Tours offers a different format: private full-day corporate tours outside the city – Sintra, Évora, Arrábida, the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park – with a licensed guide, a private vehicle, and pickup from your hotel or office. Up to 8 people per vehicle, your group only. Multiple vehicles available for larger teams. No shared buses, no strangers, no fixed timetable.

Three Team Building Packages

Cultural Day - Sintra or Évora

Best team building activity for: conference groups, international teams, mixed ages.

Two routes. One format: private vehicle, licensed guide, full day from Lisbon.

Sintra (28 km, 40 min from Lisbon) – Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca (westernmost point of continental Europe, coordinates 38°47’N 9°30’W – Cabo Roca certificates available), Cascais old town for lunch. The Serra de Sintra microclimate runs 5-8°C cooler than the city – a practical advantage for summer outings.

Évora (130 km, 1h30 from Lisbon) — Roman Temple (1st century AD), Chapel of Bones decorated with the remains of approximately 5,000 monks, Almendres Cromlech (95 granite monoliths, 5,000-6,000 BC – predates Stonehenge by ~2,000 years). UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986.
The guide picks up the team, drives, narrates, handles parking and logistics. The group decides the pace.

Adventure Day - Land Rover 4x4 in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park

Best team building activity in Lisbon for: active teams, post-conference decompression, smaller groups.

Most people who visit Sintra see the palaces. This route goes where they don’t. A Land Rover Defender on off-road tracks inside the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park – Peninha viewpoint at 488 m (unreachable by standard vehicle), Buraco do Fojo sea cave, Adraga Beach via cliff approach. Places that aren’t on any bus route and don’t appear in any city guide. 4 hours (half day) or 8 hours (full day).

This is not a city tour. No palaces, no museums. Terrain varies from forest track to Atlantic clifftop – the kind of day that generates conversation at the dinner table.

Maximum 6 passengers per vehicle. Pickup from Lisbon included.

Wine & Coast Day - Arrábida, Sintra or Alentejo

Best team building activity in Lisbon for: client entertainment, senior leadership groups, celebration outings.

A wine tasting in a bar gives you a glass and a menu. This gives you the vineyard, the winemaker, and the landscape that made the wine – then Atlantic coastline on the way back. Three routes, each built around a distinct Portuguese wine region:

  • Arrábida + Moscatel de Setúbal – Atlantic coastline with 15 m underwater visibility, Serra da Arrábida (501 m), tasting at a Setúbal Peninsula producer. Note: private cars are banned from Arrábida 7 June–15 September (07:00–19:00). Yellow Cab TT Tours holds a licensed operator card – access guaranteed year-round.

  • Sintra + Colares DOC – the only Portuguese red grown in coastal sand without grafting, produced continuously since the 14th century. Route includes Cabo da Roca and Cascais.

  • Alentejo + Vinho de Talha – wine fermented in clay pots using a technique unchanged since Roman times. Route includes Évora.

All wine routes run full day (7-8 hours). Wine component: 1-1.5 hours at producer estates. Return to Lisbon by 17:00-18:00.

We were a group of 7 people. We could not have had a better guide than María! She is passionate and her passion is contagious. She explained everything at each location and spoke three languages fluently — Spanish, English and French — with equal enthusiasm in all three.

Our driver Ricardo was a great driver of the mini bus of 8 people. He was very knowledgeable about the area and spoke three languages.

Our small group of 8 spoke English and Spanish so Pedro fluently switched back & forth without disrupting the flow. Very knowledgeable, provided both historical and current information about each location. Four worthwhile stops and detailed information at each one.
