Everything started in 2013 when I bought a yellow Land Rover Defender. What began as a personal passion – taking visitors through Sintra’s UNESCO-listed Cultural Landscape, 28 km northwest of Lisbon — grew into Yellow Cab TT Tours, now licensed under RNAAT No. 119/2013 and rated 5.0/5.0 from over 3,372 reviews on Tripadvisor. 
As the company grew, my role evolved towards management, operations, and the day-to-day work of running a business. But the reason behind it all has stayed the same. 
What has always given me the greatest satisfaction is understanding what each traveller actually wants – not what the itinerary says – and adjusting accordingly. Many visitors arrive with certain expectations. My aim is to read what genuinely interests them and build the experience around that, whether it is the history of the Knights Templar in Tomar, the geology behind the waves at Nazaré, the Roman temples and megalithic monuments around Évora, or the specific hour to arrive at Pena Palace before the crowds. 
For me, tourism is not about visiting places. It is about connecting people with experiences they could not have found on their own, and helping them leave Portugal with something they will remember clearly, not just in photographs.

Our Guides

Yellow Cab TT Tours operates with a small team of licensed driver-guides covering Lisbon, Sintra, Fátima, Évora and the Alentejo, and the wider central Portugal region. All guides hold Portuguese licences for guiding and work in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French. 

The team leads private and group tours, 4×4 Land Rover Defender tours, and wine tasting experiences across three distinct Portuguese wine regions. Setúbal-Arrábida, 40 km south of Lisbon, is home to Moscatel de Setúbal DOC, produced from Muscat of Alexandria grapes documented in the region since the 17th century. The Sintra-Cascais region, 30 km west, holds the Colares DOC – one of the few designations in Europe where vines were never grafted onto phylloxera-resistant rootstocks. The Alentejo, 130 km east of Lisbon, is Portugal’s largest wine-producing region by volume, accounting for approximately 45% of the country’s bottled wine output. Each wine experience is private and combined with sightseeing in the same region on the same day.
