Arrábida
This tour takes you to one of the most beautiful regions south of the Tejo River. Framed by the Arrábida National Park and the Sado Estuary Natural Reserve, this area is also home to stunning beaches like Portinho da Arrábida and the vast sands of the Tróia Peninsula.
The regions of Palmela and Vila Nogueira de Azeitão are known as the capitals of the Setúbal Wine Route, with their cellars and farms to visit. A very rich region, from examples of our heritage, like castles and tiles, to the gastronomy, with wine and pastries.
Palmela and Azeitão: Wine, Heritage, and Flavor
We begin by crossing the Tejo River over the Vasco da Gama bridge, the longest in the European Union at 17 km. As we pass through Montijo, we’ll make our way to Palmela, for a visit the Palmela Castle. From here, you’ll enjoy one of the most breathtaking views over the entire region.
Afterwards, we follow scenic roads surrounded by endless vineyards. This route takes us to Azeitão, known for its artisanal cheese and regional pastry sweets. While here, we will visit a family-owned Tile Factory that still produces tiles with traditional techniques.
Wine Tasting and a Memorable Return
In Azeitão, we’ll visit a local vineyard for a guided wine tasting. Wine has been produced in this area for centuries. The unique climate and soil create ideal conditions for high-quality grapes and excellent wines.
After a fantastic day in our company, we return to Lisbon via the 25 de Abril Bridge. On the way back, you’ll catch a beatiful farewell view of the Cristo Rei and the wonderful view of the city of Lisbon on the horizon.

To reserve the tour, complete the form on this page or you call us/Whatsapp us.
You will receive your confirmation as soon as possible.
What happens if it rains or there is bad weather?
All activities will take place throughout the year even if it rains.
Sintra, for example, has a microclimate, which in a way makes this place so magical and unique, but sometimes it can really make the visit sad by limiting visibility and the experience a bit, but that’s something that’s not in our control.
Do you come to pick me from my hotel?
Yes, we do pick up and drop off our clients at their hotels in Lisbon’s center.
Make sure that you write the correct address of your hotel or accommodation from where we should pick you up.
I am a solo traveler, can I still join the tour?
Yes, we accept solo travelers.
At what time the tour starts?
For our group tours, pick-up takes place between 08:30 and 09:00.
For private tours, we recommend the same time slot, although pick-up can be arranged at a different time upon request.
