This initiative, which combines networking with immersive experiences, aims to highlight Portugal’s potential as a top wine tourism destination.
The inaugural edition took place in Alentejo, a region with a strong winemaking tradition, while the upcoming edition is scheduled for Lisbon from November 10 to 15. The focus will be not only on the diversity of the country’s wine heritage but also on promoting the surrounding regions as emerging wine tourism destinations.
A standout feature of the event is the “Uncorking fam tours” — exclusive experiences designed for international tour operators, offering direct contact with the authenticity of each region and its wine-related offerings. The goal is to promote the uniqueness of each territory and strengthen Portugal’s position on the international wine tourism map.
The previous edition hosted 30 tour operators from key markets such as Brazil, the USA, the UK, Poland, Spain, and Dubai. These professionals visited top wine projects in Alentejo, including Malhadinha Nova, Torre de Palma, L’AND Vineyards, and several units from the Vila Galé group.
For 2025, a new group of selected tour operators is expected. The event will be based at Hotel Dolce Campo Real in Torres Vedras, with visits planned to the wine regions of Lisbon, Setúbal, and Tejo. The program will also include networking sessions at iconic venues like Adega Mãe and Quinta da Boa Esperança, where participants can enjoy authentic and memorable wine experiences.
