The town sits in the municipality of Our\u00e9m, inland in Santar\u00e9m district, away from Portugal&#8217;s two main rail corridors.<\/p><p>The Linha do Norte \u2014 the main Lisbon\u2013Porto route \u2014 passes through Entroncamento, approximately 35 km east of F\u00e1tima. It does not branch toward F\u00e1tima. The Alfa Pendular and Intercidades express services that stop at Leiria (served by the Linha do Norte) leave you approximately 25 km from F\u00e1tima, requiring a further bus or taxi.<\/p><p>Could you theoretically get from Lisbon to F\u00e1tima by train plus connecting bus? Yes. Would it be faster or cheaper than the direct Rede Expressos bus? It does not exist.
